START OF TIER 7

I need to watch more, because I haven''t seen enough of this dudes ultimate swing skill. His feet have looked pretty heavy at points, but other times he looks amazingly agile. This dude is an insane rim protector, and the way he deters shots is legit Rudy like. His shot isn’t terribly ugly, his passing is nice, and his post moves have real potential. He is still kinda raw on the offensive end, but all the pieces are there. If he can stick well enough on the perimeter this dude is making it big. Too many natural gifts to not make it work a little bit.

Comparison: Bill Walton LITE LITE LITE( and I can not emphasize that LITE enough)

Ceiling: Myles Turner with + passing, - athleticism

Floor: Old man Tyson Chandler

Neeimas Queta is a terrific shot blocker with nice rebounding. He''s very raw offensively and may have limited experience against top competition, but he has a nice frame for a good low post game and also averaged 5 blocks per game against two Top 25 teams. Yes 5. Not bad. Needs to improve free throw shooting though and teams shouldn't ask him to be a stretch big, as he doesn't show much potential to become a modern guy, more of a low post big.

Projected draft range: 55-undrafted

7''0 with a 7''4 wingspan.

Tremendous shot blocker and rebounder. These skills alone make me feel his floor is a backup center. Moves fairly well, exceptional length and solid instincts. Can get chase down blocks, straight up blocks and weak side help blocks. Chance to be a good/very good rim protector. Fairly mobile, may be able to defend the perimeter in limited capacity. Not the best at closing out, won''t be able to contain elite PNR players. Plays too upright defensively. Offensively he is a lob threat in various situations. Decent post up game, go to shot is the hook. Surprisingly good passing vision with ability. Finds the open man out of post ups and even makes advanced swing passes at times. Can''t put the ball on the deck, ball security is a major concern.

Positives

-Great phyiscal tools for the NBA, 7 feet tall with a 7'4 wingspan and solid athleticism to go with it

-One of the best shot blockers in the country last season, really hard to finish over because of his strength and length, spiked a good amount of shots into the stands, hard to post up

-Solid finisher with low volume in the Utah State offense, probably will be a good weapon in the dunker's spot or as a lob threat

-Most of his passing is from the post which won't be his role, but showed some nice flashes in the middle of the zone which is similar to short roll passing, has good feel as a playmaker

Negatives

-Queta's biggest concern is his PnR defense, not the best lateral movement, could have some struggles in space, needs to get into a stance more often, this would be the reason he fails in the league

-His role at USU didn't involve many pick and rolls and it will in the NBA, question marks on how he will perform as a playmaker and finisher

-Should cut out some pick and pops that lead to a mid range jumper, overall he isn't a comfortable shooter, though he shot 70% from the line which isn't bad for a big

Likely range: 25-50

Has a definitive role in the NBA as a player who can play at both ends. He is amazing defending the Pic N Roll and is among the leaders in defensive win shares and defensive box +/-. He is one of the older

Excellent length, good rim protector, would like to see him get more hip flexibility to quicken footwork. Weird passer, good vision, but accuracy isn''t great. Can pass out of the high and low post to cutters or 3 point shooters. Has the athleticism and length to be a sold rim runner, but that wasn''t really part of the offense in college. Average rebounder.
