The pieces we have acquired so far include Ben Simmons from Philly, Myles Turner from Indiana, and now we add Harrison Barnes and Delon Wright from Sacramento. In FA we also sign Otto Porter and Mike Muscala on Minimums, Powell on a 3 year 58 mil deal, and Rudy Gay for a 2 year 13 mil deal. Additionally we accept Zach Collins Qualifying Offer for 5 mil 1 year. As this stands the Kings are going to lose Richaun Holmes and will need another big man. Nurkic has shown that he can operate with dynamic PG's as a pick and roll partner and also be a force down low on his own. He also gets an opportunity to prove his value for next year's Free Agency. They also get DJJ who will always be providing highlight plays. Harrison Barnes and Delon Wright have been wasting their time in Sacramento. Neither of them are a part of the future for the team nor are they playing competitive basketball so the Kings would be fine with letting them go. On Portland's side, we bring in Barnes to play the 3 as a 3 and D wing and Delon Wright to be a backup PG. Simons is more of a score first guard anyways so moving him to the 2 also makes sense. Bringing in Otto Porter and Rudy Gay, both guys who can shoot and defend to be our bench forwards allow for maximum space in the paint for Simmons, Lillard, and Powell to operate. As the lineup stands it would be:

Dame - Powell - Barnes - Simmons - Turner Wright - Simons - Gay - Porter - Muscala/Collins

The reason we bring in Muscala on a minimum is he is a shooting big and if Zach Collins continues to struggle with health then he can fill in for a backup Center. As it stands the construction of this team is best suited for perimeter creation coming from out dynamic guards like Powell, Dame, and Simons and space for Simmons to do what he wants in the paint. He can play like Draymond or like a Giannis lite by getting on the block and attacking the basket. The best way to get Simmons involved offensively is to have him attacking the basket in transition or backing his man down on the block. If he gets doubled he has the passing ability to kick it out to the many shooters this team has and in close game situations Dame can still have the ball in his hands.

In this series we gave up the following assets: CJ McCollum, 2022 2nd, 2026 Top 10 Protected 1st, Robert Covington, Nasir Little, 2028 Top 8 Protected 1st, Jusuf Nurkic, Derrick Jones Jr., 2024 2nd via Atlanta.

We received the following assets: Ben Simmons, Myles Turner, Harrison Barnes, Delon Wright

In Free Agency we signed: Rudy Gay(2 years 12.5 mil), Mike Muscala(1 year 2 mil), Otto Porter(1 year 2 mil)

We Resigned: Norman Powell(3 years 57.5 mil), Zach Collins(Qualifying Offer)

Thanks for following if you made it to the end. Feel free to let me know your thoughts and likes are appreciated.
