Wizards are in a difficult position with not many quality young guys to build around and "star" players in Kuzma, Jones, and Poole who have all been underwhelming given their bigger roles (With Kuzma being the best of the bunch).

This trade sees the Knicks replace Quickley with Jones with the hopes of re-signing him in the offseason for a reasonable price, and bring back Gallinari to support Randle. They give back the Wizards pick which allows them much more flexibility in future trades, a projected late first-round pick this year, a large expiring contract, and a young prospect in Sims.

Kings bring in Kuzma who will replace Barnes in the starting lineup, exchange Mitchell for Wright, and finally Huerter for Kispert while giving up just an unprotected future first-round pick which I believe gives them a solid rotation and a greater chance at a chip.

Finally, the Hornets take a chance on Poole. I feel like being paired beside Lamelo, or even potentially off the bench, could open up Poole more similar to how he was utilized on Golden State, and all it costs is a massive expiring contract in Hayward, Nick Richards, and a future second.

The Wizards walk away with three young guys, two first-rounders plus their own back and a second, a bunch of expiring contracts, and two role players in Huerter and Barnes who they should flip for more assets. What would you change about this trade? Let me know your thoughts below
