Why Houston Does This:
Houston were looking to acquire KD, but honestly, I love the fit of Jimmy. Rockets are flexible enough to lose Jabari and 2 firsts in this, mainly due to their just insane young core
Jimmy and Fred can be these old guys along with really talented young guys. Eventually being replaced by 2 of Cam, Amen or Sheppard.
This trade genuinely makes them competiters in the West with this elite defensive lineup and just how high I am on Jimmy come playoff time
Why Sacramento Does This:
Sacramento have built quite a nice team in the offseason, however they dont have great defenders, especially from the center, and often in late game situations, Sabonis can be targeted.
Getting a really solid backup who can play with Sabonis in some big lineups will help them push for a deep playoff run
They also essentially only give up a swap and Colby Jones
Why Miami Does This:
Jimmy and Miami are going to come to an end eventually.
They should capitalize on his value now while it's still really high, and shift to a new era, with Bam as your franchise player along with some really solid young guys
