WHY PISTONS DO IT:
3 firsts, 2 former first rounders with a long contract for Grant. Plus Horford's menthoring for the PF/C they'll draft this year (Paolo, Chet, Duren or Smith, there's a lot of talent among top picks for this position).
WHY PHILA DO IT:
They put an end to the Simmons saga and we can safely say they didn't "lose". If you get Brown, Thybulle is expandable. That first rounder is a late one and they also get Jackson, a 2021 first round pick.
Starting 5: Maxey, Seth, Brown, Tobias, Embiid
Second Unit: Milton, Kork, Green, Niang, Drummond
WHY PACERS DO IT:
While I don't think Simmons-Turner fit is perfect, It's for sure better than the one with Sabonis. Now Turner on defense can do what he does best: defending only the rim. They also get Thybulle and a projected shooter who could develop nice under Rick.
Starting 5: Brogdon, Duarte, Warren, Simmons, Turner
Second Unit: TJ, Thybulle, Holiday, Craig, Bitadze
WHY BOSTON DO IT:
Starting 5: Smart, LeVert, Tatum, Grant, Sabonis
Second Unit: Schroeder, J-Rich, Williams, Jabari, TimeLord
Starting line up has defense, scoring, passing, youth, everything.
