Saw a lot of pistons fans trying to trade for brown with some combination of Hayes, Bogdonavic and Burks, not giving Brown the All-NBA player value he has. It would take a few young players and at least 1 or 2 frps to get it done. Here, those young players are Cade, Ausar, and Duren, with the C's taking on Burks and Livers to make the salaries match, along with only 1 frp. The Pistons get back their new #1 option in Jaylen Brown, who signs his extension in a S&T, as that would be the only way the pistons would make this trade. They also get Timelord, who is an NBA All-defensive team lock and on a really good contract.
I know pistons fans will probably not like this, but you have to give something to get something. Trades for star players over the past 5 seasons or so have been overpays, look at PG, Rudy, Murray, etc, and I dont think this trade is on those levels of getting "fleeced." Let me know what y'all think
