chicago:

The team has been in complete shambles to start the season. There was a players-only meeting right after the first loss, and then later that week Lavine had dropped 51 points just to lose by 16--clearly there is a need of change. Drama will only get worse for Chicago, so they must choose a direction as soon as possible, and in this case, they look towards a rebuild. Vucevic is one of the players that would be gone if the Bulls want to become younger, so in this trade they acquire two young unproven players and a first-round pick. This allows Wiseman and Lofton freedom as they don't need to fight for minutes like they have with their current teams. Wiseman may have gotten chances and blew it again and again, but there is quite the chance that Wiseman picks up the slack with a new city. Lofton Jr. puts up great numbers when given the minutes. The 1st round pick is pretty good as well.

memphis:

They grab Vucevic while the Bulls are in the midst of disaster. Memphis is currently lacking their superstar as well as Steven Adams who is out for the entire season. They acquire Vucevic who can very much be that needed offensive weapon, while Ja Morant is gone. Even when Ja comes back, that pick and roll duo can really benefit Morant as Vucevic can space it. As a skilled offensive center, Vucevic can elevate the Grizzlies team as he can post up, play make and shoot the three. Although he may not be a great defensive player like Steven Adams, he still grabs a lot of rebounds, fulfilling one aspect of what Adams brought to Memphis. He and JJJ will do well together crashing the boards.

detroit:

Straight up swap. It looks clear that Wiseman might not get much playing time and in fact he has not even played a single game to start the season. Bringing Adams in is actually a great move, as he can be a veteran in the locker room and a great mentor to a roster with many big. Players like 24-year-old Bagley, 19-year-old Duren and 22-year-old Stewart could really learn from Adams during practices.
