THIS TRADE WOULD TAKE PLACE AFTER DECEMBER 15th.

Why the Kings do this: Kings need defense badly. Smart would fit great in that starting 2 spot, and the only pick they give up is a 2026 1st which shouldn't mean much because the Kings are trying to win in the upcoming years. They still have Monk which makes up for their loss of shooting in Huerter. Lineup - Fox, Smart, Demar, Murray, Sabonis

Why the Grizz do this: The forward spot has been a problem for the Grizz. Unless they want to run a 3 guard lineup (I consider bane a SG), Smart will not be starting. Cam would fit great in the starting 3 spot as someone who can shoot very well from 3, and still defend at an above average level. This gives their lineup some more height and better spacing which will be ery beneficial to Ja's rim attacks. Cam can also play the 4 in the Grizz smaller lineups with crazy good spacing. This gives the Grizz a great big lineup with Edey at the 5, and a great small lineup with JJJ at the 5

Why the Nets do this: I think this is a no brainer. Getting 2 1sts and 2 2nds for Cam is a great deal. Cam is not part of the Net's timeline anyway.

Why the Magic do this: Even with KCP, Magic still need more shooting off the bench. Huerter is still only 27 and entering his prime, exactly what the young magic are looking for. That 2025 1st should not mean much as the Magic will be competing for a top seed in the upcoming years.
