Suns- The big 3 formula in Phoenix doesn’t work out so the Suns get what they can for Booker and KD. This gives them 4 great young pieces along with numerous draft capital. Herro, Vassell, Keldon, and Ware can all grow together as the future of the Suns organization and the picks from San Antonio should be very good since Atlanta is struggling. This sets the Suns up to rapidly rebuild with great draft capital and great young potential.
Heat- Miami is looking to squeeze the last of Jimmy’s career and this is a swing for the fences. KD gives them another scoring punch and they attempt to make the Big 3 formula work. This vaults Miami into the upper tier in the East as they look to contend with Boston. Herro is a small price to pay for the all nba level player that KD is.
Spurs- Booker paired with Wemby. Any other explanation needed?? Seriously though Booker and Wemby would be a ridiculous tandem. CP3 and Booker already have previous chemistry in Phoenix so they should pair well in the backcourt. This should vault San Antonio into one of the top 6 teams in the West and still keeps the team relatively young. Vassell and Johnson are key losses but Booker is more than worth it and it frees up more playing time for the younger players on the Spurs team.
Hawks- Capela is out of place in Atlanta as they look to give OO more minutes. They get their second round picks back along with Wiggins and an intriguing prospect in Ryan Dunn. Dunn provides defensive versatility and if he can develop any sort of shooting game he could be a great 3 and D player. Wiggins could be traded or kept to help Atlanta push for the playin if they choose to.
Warriors- Capela is a great fit in Golden State as he provides great defense and rebounding to a team who needs both. They also get off of the Wiggins contract and help keep Steph happy. They push to contend for the last years of Steph’s career and hopefully Capela can have a Kevon Looney in 2022 sort of impact for their team.
