Post-trade lineups:

Magic: Suggs Lavine Wagner Banchero Bitadze Anthony Black Ingles Okeke Carter Oladipo Houstan Craig Green Landale

Kings Fox Thybulle Derozan Murray Sabonis Caruso Monk Vezenkov Lyles Len Ellis Jones Toscano-Anderson McGee

Bulls Brogdon White Huerter Grant Vucevic Fultz Dosunmu Howard Isaac Drummond Terry Harris Phillips Taylor

Trailblazers Henderson Simons Sharpe Williams Ayton Mitchell Duarte Murray Camara Brown (Ball) Rupert Edwards (Williams)

Rockets VanVleet Green Brooks Smith Sengun Thompson Tate Barnes Eason Wagner Carter Holiday Bullock Whitmore Marjanovic

Why for the Magic: Orlando cashes in expiring contracts, questionable fits, and a protected first to add a high-level scorer who’s shown the ability to fit in a defense-first scheme. If Lavine thrives, the Magic elevate to title contender

Why the Kings: The Kings cash in two unprotected firsts, starters/high-level bench players on affordable contracts, and some prospects who with enough talent to escape the busy label, in order to acquire a MAJOR defensive upgrade in Caruso/Thybulle and another high-level scorer in Derozan. If this flips the Kings defensive efforts and gives them more scoring punch, they too become title contenders. Additionally, if Murray continues to grow as a scorer, the Kings can focus on resigning Monk with their extra cap space next year.

Why for the Bulls: The Bulls replace their awkward lineup situation with multiple players who can score AND defend. White gets the chance to grow as a potential #1 option while Brogdon/Grant provide versatile scoring/defense options and Huerter provides space via shooting and occasionally more. Bulls also get an extra first, a mid-round second, and a young prospect in Howard who could pack a Derozan-level scoring punch in the future. They also maintain the cap space they had previously while saving a little on the Lavine to Grant change.

Why for the Blazers: The Blazers get to that full rebuild. Two unprotected firsts, a couple seconds (including their own), four young players— three of whom are first rounders— with growth potential, and a ton of cap space.

Why for the Rockets: Rockets sacrifice a couple seconds and some future cap space for Barnes, a steady veteran who can fit in just about any lineup and take over games at times, along with a couple gritty defenders in Carter and Wagner.
