I’m drunk rn so my bad for spelling errors. First things first I think Minnesota should throw in some scrub to the Knicks but idk who they value highly.

This trade ONLY happens if the teams involved(mainly Knicks and t wolves) want to dump the salaries of Kat and Randle while getting good value back. Let’s get to it.

KINGS: these fuckers realize Sabonis with demar and fox does not work so they go full in on a spacing center. In addition to Kat they get 2 rly solid guards back to replace Keon Ellis and huerter who they lose(huerter barely plays so that’s fine).

T WOLVES: all in on Naz Reid. The realization that Naz can do basically everything that Kat can do at a slightly worse lvl is worth saving a lot of money. In return they stack up on role pieces. Keon Ellis is one of if not the best contract in the league. Huerter offers rly nice spacing despite his struggles on other areas of the court. John Collins is a very solid spacing big and his contract is much more manageable than kats. They also get back a protected first but since this is in essence a salary dump of Kat the value isn’t gonna be stellar

JAZZ: they capitalize on rough mid season decisions. Collins is more than likely not apart of the jazz future, so getting back Randle plus a protected first is great value and they likely just let rendle walk in FA or maybe try to flip him for smth or make an early playoff push.

KNICKS: Sabonis is an IHart on steroids. He can fill the role of the secondary creator while being an above avg defender despite the connotation on him due to his lack of generic rim protection. Prob best rebounder in league and second best passing big while also being able to get his own bucket he’s an upgrade over Randle and can even run the 4 in bigger lineups with Mitch at the 5. Giving up McBride and protected firsts is a bit but it’s cool in this scenario, Knicks top 7 is now insane but they r gonna need some rookies/ mid season signings to step up 100%
