My first post-lottery first round mock draft with descriptions

Disclaimer: I rlly didnt watch much bout the late first guys, so if you happen to know those prospects well enough pls gimme some insights on them

Especially in the lottery, you will see probably a lot of unpopular takes. LMK if you agree to my reasonings!

May i just say, how lucky the Hawks are. Do think the NBA just trying to let a team jump up in a weak draft to prove lottery system isnt biased lol

Here they will go with Alex Sarr, the 7 footer. Changes need to be made in this Hawks team this offseason as its a mess rn. They're stucked in between buying and selling. Since the ECF appearance they hv been super super mid even with Murray's addition

Do expect Capela to be moved no matter what as Sarr and Okongwu rlly should be the frontcourt bigs. Hunter should be moved too if possible, will be tough tho with the size of the contract. For Trae and Dejounte, with this 1st pick suddenly given to ATL, do think front office will want another shot at this backcourt tgt

Sarr versatility is what got him to 1st pick. His athleticism, quickness and rim protection, as well as a bit of ball handling and shooting, should immediately help this ATL defense out immediately, and give them a high ceiling piece for the future of the franchise
