WHY KNICKS

• The Lavine/Bronson duo is going to be fun to watch offensively. They complement each other well and would be as explosive as any other guard duo in the league.

• Andre Drummond comes in a fills the void of losing Mitchell Robinson for the year. He's from NY so he'd have a pride playing there.

• Drummond and Barrett are also pairable for a decent front court. Not elite, but definitely not a bad one, and their skill sets don't clash at all.

WHY BULLS

• It's clear that the Bulls may be trending towards a rebuild.

• DeRozan is likely out of the door next year. Having Barrett as a replacement to him isn't a bad look at all.

• Bogdanovich is a very gifted scorer and vet. He can be flipped again.

• The Bulls could decide to trade DeRozan instead of losing him for nothing. This could set their rebuild up pretty well with all of the new picks and cap space.

WHY PISTONS

• Simply put the Pistons need their pick back so that they can start to make some real trades to build around Cade.

• Patrick Williams may not be living up to the pick #4 hype but he's a solid defender and could probably use a change of scenery.

• Call me crazy but I believe Monty Williams can get some "Mikal Bridges" type of production out of Williams.

• Evan Fournier is still serviceable. He allegedly feels held back in NY. He could fill the void of losing Bogdanovich. At his best, he is on a similar level as a vet. If he doesn't work out, there's a team option for next year.

• Fournier could be flipped in another trade.

• With their pick control returned to them, they can now target OG Anunoby or Siakam from Toronto or even Lauri Markanen from Utah. They could also seek a Jerami Grant or Tobias Harris return. They'd have plenty of options. -
