Honestly, picks 1 and 2 are locked up but I believe the draft gets interesting at pick 3. The Trailblazers obviously want to get Dame some help to allow for a championship run. The pick could get traded for someone like Pascal Siakam or even Zion who might play more since the Nike HQ is in Portland? I've seen lots of people who've said that Scoot is the type of guy who would be the 1st pick in other years but he had a just OK year in the G League. Now Amen is typically considered a better prospect than Ausar since he has an incredible upside. Ausar however, is an incredibly successful player in the OTE program so if Portland wants a win-now type of player Ausar is probably the best bet there. The Rockets are legitimately just a dumpster fire who have 0 direction so they probably just pick the best available out of the 3. Then we get to the Pistons who then probably lose out both Scoot and one of the Thompson twins so they could be picking a Thompson twin I would take Ausar if he's on the board there. However, Cam Whitmore seems like a really intriguing prospect and the Pistons already have two talented guards in Jaden Ivey and Cade Cunningham. Then we have the Magic who actually could be a decent team this year but they really need an impact player alongside Paolo. Cam Whitmore most likely could still be on the board which would be a really good pick but Jarace Walker and Nick Smith Jr are tantalizing prospects. If they don't take Whitmore they probably take Nick Smith Jr just to have a good guard next to Paolo. Frankly, these top 6 picks are really interesting and could affect where this draft goes and the future of the NBA goes.
