Inspired by Guru's Celtics Salary Cap Article...
As he expressed it going to be really hard to form a championship level roster around Tatum being over the 2nd tax apron. And one of (NOT MY FIRST IDEA I WOULD TRY AT ANY MEANS) the options would be to trade Jaylen Brown for a haul.
With Jrue and Porzingis son the team Jaylen's usage and offensive production has dipped after breakout year offensively last year. But his having his best defensive season yet. I really wonder what his usage will be like in the playoffs.

Imo the Celtics remain an ELITE DEFENSE. While bolstering their bench defensively, but also with shooting, playmaking, and youth.
Title chances wise two things need to happen. The Stars of Tatum, Porzingis, and Jrue need to stay healthy even more than ever with no Jaylen Brown... Secondly they Tatum need t elevate his offensive game to a level we've never seen... Tatum for MVP and Scoring title 2025 anyone??
On the Flipsie OKC Thunder establish a legit big 3 even greater than KD, Russ, and Harden with SGA, Chet, and Jaylen Brown... not to mention Jaylen Williams too!

There is clearly a gaping hole in the roster at PF... We wouldn't really be able to address that need via FA with our new cap situation... We could easy get a solid backup PF or C but not someone starting caliber. Someone needs to step up whether than be Dieng or Jaylin Williams or Sarr... or one our THREE 2024 FRPs:
2024 FRPs: Utah LAC Rockets
Can we land a starting caliber PF or C (move Chet to PF) in the draft? I think we can.
