Thunder get more picks by moving their superstar SGA. This would only happen if Shai asked out, which probably won't happen this soon into their rebuild, but could happen in the near future if OKC doesn't turn a corner and Shai becomes impatient. The Thunder would get an astonishing 8 first round picks for Shai, which would be pretty hard to turn down if offered, especially with Sam Presti as GM.

OKC's 1st round draft picks: 2022- #2 (own), #10 (WAS via MIN), #12 (LAC) 2023- MIA, NO, own, DEN (lott), DET (lott), LAC (swap), WAS (own) 2024- MIN, MIL, own, HOU, LAC, UTA (top 10) 2025- Own, HOU/LAC swap best, MIA, PHI 2026- MIN, LAC, HOU, own 2027- MIA, own, DEN (lott) 2028- MIN (lott), own

Plus over 20 2nd round picks
