This trade happens if the Pelicans dont get a top 5 pick in the lottery and decide to use the pick to continue to build around Zion rather than trade him. Also, assuming in this trade that the Jazz have decided to build around a top two pick in Flagg or Harper and the Hawks have decided to hold on to Trae by adding good veteran players.

Why for the Pelicans? The Pelicans are in a position where if they draft high they are going to keep the pick but if they slide in the draft they then have to decide if the caliber of player is worth rebuilding around in a trade Zion scenario. (probably not) Pelicans than need to decide between trading Zion or the pick because why would they wait another 3-4 years for #7 to develop. This trade assumes the Pelicans go with the latter and keep Zion. Zion with both Markannen and Olynyk would be terrorizing due to the spacing Zion would have.
