This is the Russ trade + other complimentary pieces. If you're the lakers, you hope that Hield & Bertans get out of their shooting slump. Gonna miss KCP but at the very least you have Richardson to work with for defense. This will only work if Schroder agrees to a sign & trade, & Harrell also agrees to a sign & trade so this deal is already looking iffy. Bertan's had a bad season, lakers would need to capitilize on convincing the wizards they'd be paying a bad defender who cant shoot threes. If Hield & Bertan's dont perform this is gonna be an epic disaster paying 15+ mil to guys that cant shoot and defend. For free agency signings, go hard on Ariza, Green as long as they're up for the vet min. or taxpayer MLE. They need Howard & Mcgee back in which case both are realistic at the vet minimum. I don't want Drummond, lmao, whiny 7 footer who doesnt fit & thinks he's one of the main options.

Wizards get well.... young pieces? I really do believe THT is the centerpiece for this trade because of his immense potential. Schroder can star on this bad team. Kuzma can finally be that 18-20 ppg scorer on a bad team, maybe rejuvenate his career. They'll most likely trade away Beal after this. You wont get much for Westbrook, this is probably the most you're gonna get

Mavs probably get the most out the entire deal, only trading an unimpressive Richardson to get two contributing pieces. Harell & KCP arent enough to win you a chip, but at the very least KCP provides shooting & defense, Trez brings energy & can score on his own in the post... with this they can at least buy more time to surround Luka with better pieces considering KCP & Trez' contracts are tradable

Kings.... well, 2 first round picks for a guy who wanted out two years ago. Maybe Green turns to something nice, Powell could be of use to another trade who knows. But hey, at least they got picks. Hield's value has certainly dipped, he's been inefficient all year long so his value isnt that high.
