Why do I think the Pistons do this?

Jaden Ivey was having his greatest season before the nasty injury he suffered versus the Orlando Magic. He will be missing some significant time and the Pistons will need additional firepower. Simons, 25, has been inconsistent this season but lately, he's been turning it around. In the last 10 games, the young guard is averaging 20 PPG/6.0 AST/3.0 RBS (rounded off) on 44/35/93 shooting splits. It makes me wonder how much of his inconsistent play is due to having a bad coach and hideous spacing around him. With the Pistons, I think Anfernee will thrive as a secondary creator alongside Cade and will be on the list for one of the top shooters on the team.

This is assuming RW3 plays well in the games he'll play.

For the Clippers, adding Williams would be a good move, especially if he returns to his usual self. Their team is currently 5th in DFRTG; adding him would make it much better.

For the Blazers, Tucker would serve as an expiring contract (or Portland can just cut him lol). Also, the picks can be useful in trades or the draft….
