Of the Trailblazers'options in free agency, Mike likes Jalen McDaniels, and I cannot disagree. But, Damian Lillard is recruiting Draymond Green? Well, OK! However, the Trailblazers cannot rely of Green alone; they need to add size to their bench.

Anfernee Simons and Nassir Little are the Trailblazers' best trade options at this point. Trading Anfernee for a star forward is probably not realistic. Also, he doesn't fit on every team. Anfernee can probably serve Orlando well; they need a ball dominant guard. However, Orlando doesn't have assets for Simons on a dollar-for-dollar basis. So, in addition to Orlando sending Bol Bol and Moritz Wagner, they send '24 and '25 FRPs.

Nassir Little is sent to Dallas in exchange for their '25 FRP and JaVal McGee. JaVale probably won't play for the Trailblazers much, but he can supply valuable minutes if Nurkic, Bol Bol or Wagner go down with injuries.
