Following a loss to the Memphis Grizzlies, the Golden State Warriors did not qualify for the playoffs. They have wasted another phenomenal year but Steph Curry. So with sharpshooter Klay Thompson coming back, what can the Warriors do to maximize each guard's prime. Here is an off-season plan:

Note: The Holmes thing is a sign-and-trade. I couldn't sign and trade him straight up because the website wouldn't let me. This is assuming they don't get the Minny pick.

Timeline:

Trade James Wiseman, Jordan Poole, 4 FRP for Beal

Trade Andrew Wiggins to Mavericks for Richardson, WCS, and a FRP and SRP.

Draft Josh Giddey in draft.

Sign-and-trade Holmes in exchange for Looney, Paschall Sign Holmes to 3yr contract worth a little over $30 million.

With all of these moves, the Warriors become better and provide help to Klay and Steph. They first trade for Beal. While giving up that much capital is hard, Wiseman has played horribly on the court this season (they're outplayed by *16* points when he is on the court) and the FRPs will be in the 20s. Meanwhile, the Wizards kick off their rebuild by trading away Beal and getting young players with lots of potential along with some serious draft capital. To make room for Beal, the Warriors trade Andrew Wiggins for a first and a second along with Josh Richardson, who will make up for Beal's lack of defense and WCS to beef up big man depth. This trade keeps their capital going. The Mavericks finally get that third star and shot creator next to Luka and Kristaps. Wiggins might be overpaid, but he's a 20pt scorer who's improved defensively. In the draft, the Warriors reach for Josh Giddey to handle the point guard duties when Steph and Klay are on the bench. He can also be a long-term project to build a dynasty in th future. Next, in free agency, they orchestrate a sign-and-trade deal to get Richaun Holmes, who can provide a starting caliber center who can guard the best big men (such as Jonas Valanciounis). They trade Kevon Looney and Eric Paschall, who have never really had playing time for the Warriors. Looney can be a long-term project for the Kings if they choose, and Paschall can be a power forward if they trade Marvin Bagley III.

With all these moves, the Warriors can become a true threat in the West. Led by Steph, Beal, and Klay, they could become special for next year. We'll see what they do this offseason following a disappointing year overshadowed by Steph's amazing year.
