PG: Shai, Jones, Holiday SG: Bridges, Joe, Wiggins SF: George, Thompson, Covington PF: Williams, Love, Bol C: Chet, Reed, Garza
Method behind the Moves: I wanted to increase production of the team while also bring in vets to provide the team with experience and help with the growth progress.
Tyus is one of the best replacement guards in the league
Covington brings in experience through the playoff and is generally a low minutes guy but can be played longer if needed
Love brings in bench minutes and championship/playoff experience. Love would be the best pickup out of all of these players simply because he know how to lead a team and can be the veteran presence they need
Garza, Bol, and Holiday take bench roles but are ready to play when their time is needed
We bring back Joe simply because he is a perfect fit here and is one of the best three-point shooters in the league
Amen Thompson would fit into the youth of the group but also increase the defense.
Paul Reed is one of the best backup centers and is a perfect fit either next to Shai or Jones
Why are we moving so many picks: We have an abundance of picks to the point where they aren't really worth the team keeping them. Using picks in a deal to get players like Amen Thompson just gives us the upper hand in a deal.
Why sign Paul George: We'll sign Paul George to a 2 year $26 million dollar deal. I them making this offer so that they have cash next year to extend all of the rookies and make sure that they end up getting paid.
Why trade from Bridges: Bridges Clearly isn't working in Brooklyn, so bring him here would bring the offer of him not always having to be the player the team has to depend on. Plus he up our defense at the guard position.
