This is why each team does this trade.

Portland: The Blazers want a FRP for each of Brogdon and Grant, and they get that in this trade. They also get three players that can recoup their value in Portland with Wiggins, Russel, and Vincent. As of now, nobody wants Wiggins and Russel, but they could really pad their stats in Portland and get flipped next year. Also, these guys fit the blazers team, with DLO becoming their sixth man and Wiggins sliding into the starting PF spot. It also gives Portland the space to play all their young guys. Wins all around.

Lakers: This is a bit of a no brainer for the LA. They get to keep Reaves and land Jerami Grant and Dejounte Murray, while also picking up back PG Patty Mills that has championship experience. They will trade an unprotected first, one pick swap, and one second rounder, along with DLO, Rui, and Vincent. They are getting a steal here and would be lucky if this happened.

Hawks: This is where it gets dicey. Atlanta is giving away almost all their guys with value on the market. That being said, ATL has come out said the only untouchables are Trae and Jalen, and they want draft picks, future salary relief, and young players to build around. This does that. Maybe not to the level they want, but it gets it done. They send out Dejounte, Capella, Hunter, and Bojan to get back expiring contracts in CP3 and Fournier, young players in Grimes and JHS, strong rotation players and future assets Rui and GP2, while also picking up two unprotected firsts, two pick swaps, and two second round picks.

Knicks: This package is no secret. They want their sixth man and they get it in Brogdon by giving away Fournier, Grimes, and a FRP. Nothing special here, this is what has been reported for some time.

Warriors: Everyone knows the Warriors are trying to upgrade and they do this in spades. By giving up Wiggins, CP3, GP2, two unprotected firsts, a pick swap, and a second rounder, they get a protected FRP via Sacramento, Hunter, Capella, and Bojan. This is a homerun for the Warriors as they do not give up Kuminga, Moody, or Podziemski in the process.
