Oh it feels gd to be back at mock draft, unfortunately im not letting myself make another one until May as my huge exam is incoming, which will affect if i can go to university, so dont rlly want myself to commit to another mock draft and spend time on it. I do have 1 more post about some takes for the 2024 Draft which i will hopefully get it out after 1-2 weeks if i have time

As you may know, I do like to make my bold predictions and add it into my own mock drafts, as a guy that predicted Cam Whitmore falling out of lottery (https://fanspo.com/nba/s/general/p/4BXelQiW9sH7_a/the-cam-whitmore-problem-and-the-undrafted), im a bit confident that some similar situations will happen in the 2024 Draft as well, take a look at the analysis as i explained why i think so

Do also wanna talk about couple of guys that fell out of the lottery:

  1. Isaiah Collier

Fully confident that he will end up being a lottery pick. The physical tools is still there, very athletic and quick, gd playmaker, high ceiling. Came back from injury looking better than start of the season, should see his projected draft position rising back up into the lottery

  1. JaKobe Walter

At Baylor, you gotta think of Keyonte George 1st, and Keyonte isnt a lotto pick in the draft, when he has way higher of a ceiling. Shooting splits are similar for both of them, also quite inefficient, but confident that he will be a good shooter in the league, but that's nearly it. Reminds me of Moses Moody, think his ceiling will just be a 3&D, and should fell out of the lottery

  1. Stephon Castle

He actually have some ceiling, attack the bucket well, strong, but there's not rlly a skill that stands out for him. He's those who can be very gd, or just a casual, doesnt seem too promising to me for now, which is why i think he shouldnt be in the lottery, but will be picked up at 15-22 range

  1. Ryan Dunn

I do know that he's a tremendous defender, reminds ppl of Herb Jones, which i also agree to. But teams in the lotto probably will look for more ceiling, and Ryan Dunn dont have that. Very NBA ready prospect, so should be picked up at 15-20. Not surprising that he goes late lottery, but that's the highest he can go

  1. Kevin McCullar

Saw a lot of ppl hving him high, even in the lottery. Can someone tell me why so? 5 year senior, never ever reach 35% from 3 as a 3&D wing, defensively i never heard that he's elite. Doesnt rlly see why he's ranked so high, but after Jaime Jaquez last year, maybe there's some aspects to his game that can be special, lmk if u have an explanation thx

  1. Yves Missi

See a rim protector who probably have Mitch Rob quality one day, another guy that should go 15-22, not surprised that he goes lotto, especially if Ware, Clingan and Filipowski are all picked early and Bulls are in late lottery

Remarks: Order are based on standings on 7/3/2024

Put much effort on the analysis, not very detailed, but hopefully you can read through it, and find it useful :)
