Looks like bucks are trying to get back how they won championships- defense so they sign Turner ( replacement for Lopez role)for 4 year 107 million deal and waive Lillard 113M two year contracts and be extended to next 5 years, they now only lack the defensive SG with some offense, Derrick white is tall in SG (6’5)and can switch from 1 to 3, hopefully he can replace what Jrue Holiday has done here

Edit - the deal adjust to warriors just swap moody for Portis , as Celtics can choose get moody or send it to other teams for first round pick…

Why Bucks do it: those 1-4 picks. That's almost a guaranteed shot at Dybantsa, Boozer, or Darryn Peterson. Then another protected 1-4 in the 2027 draft. If they tank this year, it WOULD be a guaranteed shot if it worked in a way that truly rewarded tanking, as in, a bottom 4 team, gets a top-4 draft pick, but… the lottery prevents that.

Thunder are real impressed by Ace Bailey's immediate flashes of brilliance, and decide if they can't get Mavs to depart with Cooper Flagg, or Spurs to give up Harp, they'll go after Ace Bailey. Vultures. But of course, they spin it as saving a talented player from a destitute situation.

Jazz, jump at this opportunity.

Rockets, quietly take Cason….

Celtics give up all their draft stock to make this happen.

Bucks do this in a heartbeat, Paolo, Anfernee, D White, Nesmith, Goga, Jordan Walsh would be a nice cherry on top

Magic, do it for draft picks. So in other words, they don't give up Paolo in a million years. But imagine one of them was guaranteed to be Dybantsa, then they might consider it. Or Boozer.

Pacers, don't do this. but that's not the point. Pretend they accidentally accept or something and then are too embarrassed to admit they fucked up. que someone telling me this is actually a good trade for Indiana just cuz I said that….

After around 15-25 games into the season, Milwaukee realizes this team is a mess and even in a weakened eastern conference, this is not a good enough team to win. Giannis is sending passive aggressive signs of leaving and the bucks concede. They look to fulfill the trade request and get him to a team that gives him a better shot of winning. The Bucks want to acquire their picks back from Atlanta to be able to fully rebuild. Atlanta gets Giannis to show Trae Young that they want to help him win and put him in the best place possible to get a championship. This moves also helps Atlanta by showing Trae that getting him less money would also mean they keep Giannis and give him a better chance at winning. This gives them the leverage in the contract situation by showing to Trae that he is choosing between himself and a championship, which they know Trae desires more than anything (even money). The Bucks get Jalen Johnson and Zaccharie Risacher, who are two great young players. The price of …

Bucks get their own picks back, a good young player in Jarace Walker, and salary fillers. The Blazers get a lottery pick from the Pacers. The Pacers get Myles Turner back with having give up too much. Pacers never really need that draft pick as a contending team and Jarace Walker wasn't getting too much time in this contending team. Who says no?…

This is your post-Christmas trade if things go south for the Bucks at the start of the season — and I’m very convinced it will.

Very simple:

The Bucks get their picks back, a Giannis-lite in Jalen Johnson, and an excellent young prospect in Dyson Daniels. Porziņģis can easily be rerouted to another team for additional picks, but that decision waits until after the season starts and we see how healthy he is. The Bucks might prefer Risacher over Daniels, and the Hawks will surely push to include Alexander-Walker instead of Daniels. I’m also confident the Bucks could extract another unprotected first-round pick from Atlanta — something way out in the 2030,31 or 32 draft, after the Giannis years — and they probably should. For the Hawks, this is huge: They effectively swap Myles Turner for Kristaps Porziņģis — both similar player types, but Porziņģis has far more upside when healthy. The thing is, Porziņģis is almost never healthy. Turner isn’t exactly the most durable either, but he’s m…
