Summary:

The grizzlies are without Ja for the 2024 season and have decided to tank. In this plan they trade the pick to bring in Himmy Butler. After bringing him in they will prepare for a deep playoff run. The Heat are letting him walk due to them getting embarrassed by the Celtics in the playoffs. They are preparing to retool/rebuild and are planning for the future. The Nets will have to let Claxton leave because he is not intrested in playing for a team without a future and would like to play for a contender. The grizzlies play him alongside JJJ and get on of the best interior defense in the league if not one of the best defence in the league. The Heat select a replacement for Jimmy with the 7th pick. This trade helps each team. The Grizzlies sign suitable players in free agency like Pat bev for his defence and Bol Bol to stop Wembanyama.
