Here is an idea that sparked me that the Magic could go for!

1) Trade Wendell Carter JR, Franz Wagner and a SRP for Pick 2

Orlando walk away from this trade with both picks 1 and 2 in the draft, with the opportunity of taking 2 of the 4 best possible outcomes for their franchise. While giving away a really nice contract in Wendell Carter, Franz Wagners potential and Skillset matches the Thunder lack.

2) Trade Markelle Fultz, Jonathan Isaac and a SRP for Pick 4

Kings just traded for Sabonis, which clearly tells that they want to content in the playoffs. Isaac and Fultz would be good pieces to come off the bench for the Kings, both players who have a lot to prove after coming off long injuries. This allows Orlando to get off a hefty amount of cap and look elsewhere in free agency to boost the team.

3) Trade Terrence Ross for Talen Horton Tucker

Lakers are desperate for efficient bench scoring, something that Terrence Ross can provide. And while THT is still relatively young at 21, he suits the timeline for the Orlando Magic in this current rebuild.

4) Draft Chet Holmgren with the 1st pick in the draft

At 7-feet tall with a 7-foot-6 wingspan, Chet Holmgren is a playmaker on both ends of the floor. He is comfortable with the ball in his hands, and he is a reliable shooter who can score on all levels. On the defensive end, Holmgren greatly affects the game as a rim protector.

5) Draft Jabari Smith JR with the 2nd pick in the draft

Jabari Smith a remarkably talented perimeter defender. 6’10 with a plus wingspan and importantly plays at that size functionally. He slides his feet incredibly well laterally, hounds ball-handlers with his activity, and is capable of stringing together multiple positive plays during single possessions.

6) Draft Keegan Murray with the 4th pick in the draft

Keegan Murray is an athletic, high-motor combo forward that has been having a very good sophomore season. He is a skilled, versatile scorer that can make shots in a variety of ways, and he also is a solid shot blocker and defender.

7) NOT LISTED UNDER CIRCUMSTANCES - trade picks 32 and 35 up to mid 20s and draft Kennedy Chandler

After trading away Fultz, Magic would need a backup PG, which I think Chandler can provide the tools for the reigns.

Ideal Starting 5:

Anthony, Suggs, Murray, Smith, Holmgren

Bench:

Chandler, THT, Okeke, Bol Bol, Wagner
