Why every team does this:

Miami Heat- They get a scorer in donvan mitchell and a defensive minded guard who fits the Miami Heat system in Patrick Beverley. They also get turner to help with defense and moves Bam Adebayo to his natural position of the power forward.

Indiana Pacers- They get two young guys with a ton of potential, eat the one year contract of powell, and get a first for a player they probably would have lost in free agency.

Dallas Mavericks- They get themselves another playmaker and a brunson replacement in Lowry while only giving up Bertans (a terrible contract), Powell (someone they werent gonna be able to bring back in the offseason), Green (a young player that doesnt really fit there team right now after drafting Hardy), and a first to attach to the Bertans contract.

Utah Jazz- They get a big haul for donovan Mitchell and Patrick Beverley. They get two young guys they can grow, they get two bad contracts that they can end up flipping for anything and a player they like in strus.

Okalahoma City Thunder- They get a young player that fits there timeline and a second round pick for 2 first and the release of the protections on the heat's 2025 first round pick.

Lineups:

Miami Heat: PG: Beverley/ Vincent SG: Mitchell/ Oladipo SF: Butler/ Martin PF: Adebayo/ Anthony C: Turner/ Dedmon
