Myles returning? Or if he does, maybe they should go for D/Rebs. DET's O would benefit from Myles stretch style. Spurs get PG.

If Myles isn't a sure thing to return. Then even if he does, the consistency and especially rebounding won't be there. So send him to a team that needs his Offense/Defense. The stretching of the floor for DET would work wonders for their ability to use all the athleticism on their team...

Pacers will still have enough spacing with Pascal, Obi and other's that can shoot the 3 a bit in this trade. The Pacers get a young, rebounding/defensive big. He doesn't shoot at all like Myles, but they have enough of that. This will give the Pacers a C who will be able to keep up the Pace, hunt boards and defend. Keldon Johnson has been connected to the Pacers before and in Spurs trade talks. Swapping Keldon for Nembhard, gives them the legit big playmaker, combo/scoring Points Guard they've desperately needed all year. Nembhard at this rate could turn out to be better than Haliburton. If Hali's slump continues..smh. Pacers also picked up the more raw wing SF not being used much by the Spurs. He's 6'8, more defensive minded, but can score too and shoot a bit. Spurs have so many of these kinds of player's. They don't need him so much. Pacers however need all the length and the closest thing to a real SF wing they can get. Bobi Klintman from DET was a throw in for me personally, because I wanted him since the year before in the draft. Not having come along fast enough consistency wise on Offense won't get any better stuck on the bench in DET. The Pacers have a great development of young player's and with the right practice/place. He could be a solid asset down the road when his name is called.

I feel like this trade is pretty fair and all team's get player's they need to move forward and become great again.

What do you guy's think of this one? I personally love all the young talent and adding Keldon to help alleviate the having to stagger Mathurin/Nesmith minutes. Because we lack so much at the SF. I also believe Quinton Jackson is a solid 2 or 3 PG. Could even become a starting level guard on some team's. So I think it only makes sense to give him that spot. Then help out the Spurs, who can help us with some player's and Keldon who can play multiple positions like Bruce Brown did. Keldon also has a fairly strong defensive rating. Not the best at 3's, but not bad and will get them corner looks most likely. As I'd like Mathurin at the SG, but the best part is they can switch with great success on Defense. Keldon will be able to keep up with guards on switches as well as Mathurin. Then they have to worry about running into Duran and Pascal down low.

Pacers need to add Defense/length any way they can. Keldon and Duran are a solid start. Keldon can help score, Reath is a version of what Duran isn't. He can stretch the floor. Klintman is a project with solid potential. Ingram is a savy SF who can shoot and pass a bit. Sidy Cissoko is a bit more raw, Defense wing, 3&D type. All these guy's can guard multiple positions.. and as much as it would be tough to see Myles and Nembhard go. The team needs to restore a balance within the roster. This will give them a fresh start and multiple guy's to fill holes at every position. Especially with all the injuries and not knowing what our C position could become down the road. This gives us a bit of reassurance and solves Reb/D issues.
