Everyone else's pieces aren't young, complete players, at least not 3-4 of them the way Jaylen Brown, Porzingis, Holiday, D White are... with Horford & Queta also still having value. And it's not exactly like Dame + Giannis [the pieces Boston is getting back] are relatively young for NBA standards, meanwhile giving up JB for SGA almost seems reasonable considering how recently everyone wanted to be in agreement that he is "the best player," on the best team in the NBA, according to all Boston detractors. But oh no, almost forgot y'all only say that to try to take away from how great Tatum is. Either way, for anything short of this in return... no way are we breaking up JB / JT.
After winning another ring this year tho, it Would be interesting to see this team with 4 top 40 All-time type players on one team.
I kinda [really] gutted the Thunder tho, but tbh I'm biased and don't mind seeing that. They're the biggest threat to the Boston dynasty, so if I could pull off a trade like this if they fell in love with Sabonis and wanted another [more traditional] big to build around Chet for some reason and then deal Hartenstein for someone like Garland after the Hawks get swept by the Pacers in the 1st round of the playoffs... I'd love to see OKC ruin their team like this. But in the real world, they're not trading Jalen Williams, SGA, or Dort without getting way more in return. I had them giving up picks to the Kings just because they were the ones who had them, and Kings seemed to get everyone's unwanted leftovers when it comes to superstars... but that was on purpose because they didn't give up Fox or Huerter. Still, I did them dirty, and I apologize to Sacramento.
